[Article] A Study on the Correlation between Christian Symbols and Meanings. : Focusing on form and color of church logo design

The Christian symbol is made using various forms and colors that contain different meanings. In particular, most of them are made using the meaning of the Bible. This kind of Christian symbol can help Christians lead a religious life, and to non-Christians, it helps to convey their Christian identity. In response, the study selected 11 out of 126 Protestant churches in Korea with relatively large dioceses, analyzed the shapes and colors used in logo design, and identified the correlation between form and color by checking whether the Bible meaning existed.

If we summarize the logo design analysis cushion for each school unit analyzed in this study, first, we looked at the overall logo design form. Second, I recognized the shape and color used in logo design. Finally, we looked at the correlation between the bible and non-bible meanings of form and color.

The study found that the form used as a Christian symbol was mainly the use of non-sexual forms and that color was mainly the use of the color of the bible meaning. This showed that using the form and color of biblical meaning in making the church's logo could effectively convey the bible meaning and the identity of the church and the church to Christians and non-Christians. In the future, the Christian symbol serves to communicate and communicate Christian information, and we look forward to helping them understand Christian ideology easily in a religious way.
